Fromm's problem was not throwing or running, it was READING the LSU D which often used only 2, and sometimes only 1 DL. Many times dropped back into ZONE which was well disguised and not expected.

Fields has reportedly been behind in reading Ds. Thus using him was not the solution.

IMHO the solution woudda been a much bigger dose of Holyfield + Swift. Their ypc was excellent.
